Grace Houseman Art

A little info on me... Hi!  I'm Grace Houseman and I live in Staffordshire with my husband and two shih tzus.  I'm into everything goth and alternative but this doesn't mean I can't pretend to be normal once in a while.

I don't like to be in the spotlight so if I can create without plastering my face about or appearing in videos... I will.  This lovely mugshot is me but I might replace it with a gratuitous dog photo one day.

The two main themes in my work are horror/creature art and cute pop surrealist art.  I also create surface pattern designs.

I have had my paintings published on the book covers for horror Anthologies - Strange Playgrounds and Essential Atrocities by George Daniel Lea and also had my concept art featured on the BBC as part of a nationwide collaboration of artists and writers for Briony Makes a Zombie Movie.

A lot of my paintings have been private commissions for collectors.
